Another month, more incredible reviews
One of my favourite parts of every month is reading through the messages that land in my inbox after a wedding or event. Every booking is completely different, so it’s always brilliant to hear what stood out most to each couple or client.
This month’s reviews came from a real mix of events – from a surprise proposal in Regent’s Park and a beautiful Warwickshire wedding to milestone birthday celebrations in Oxford and Bristol.
Planning a proposal from another country could have been stressful, but Samir trusted me to help bring everything together. Disguised as a busker, I learnt some of Anshu’s favourite songs before playing the soundtrack to one of the biggest moments of their lives.
Birthday celebrations brought their own memorable moments too. During Steve and Keren’s party in Oxford, an unexpected power cut could easily have brought the evening to a halt. Instead, I grabbed my guitar, headed over to the tables and carried on performing acoustically until everything was back up and running. Sometimes those unplanned moments end up becoming the most memorable part of the night.

John’s birthday celebration in Bristol was another reminder that great communication before an event is just as important as the performance itself. Learning requested songs, adapting to last-minute changes and making the booking process as straightforward as possible are all part of the service.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who takes the time to leave a review after their event. It means a huge amount to a self-employed musician, and it also helps future couples and clients to know what they’re getting and make sure they’re hiring the right musician for their big day.
